Bazzi is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Justin Timberlake, Bryson Tiller, Duran Duran, Michael Jackson and Guns N' Roses. Those roots explain a lot about how Bazzi arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Lauv, Why Don't We, Marc E. Bassy, Charlie Puth and Ali Gatie, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Lay, Camila Cabello, EXO, NCT Dream and Mark, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 44 connections around Bazzi, reaching back through Justin Timberlake and forward to Lay. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
