Blue Foundation is a Trip hop act. Their sound grew out of My Bloody Valentine, Stereolab, Broadcast, DJ Krush and Friction. Those roots explain a lot about how Blue Foundation arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Flunk, Elsiane, HÆLOS, 8mm and Sneaker Pimps, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Zeds Dead, French Montana, Young Thug, Curren$y and Lil Durk, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 25 connections around Blue Foundation, reaching back through My Bloody Valentine and forward to Zeds Dead.
