El Malilla

El Malilla is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Yeyo and Speedy. Those roots explain a lot about how El Malilla arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as El Bogueto, Uzielito Mix, Cachirula, Bellakath and Doony Graff, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Uzielito Mix, Ms Nina, Bellakath, Yeri Mua and J Balvin, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 37 connections around El Malilla, reaching back through Yeyo and forward to Uzielito Mix. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
