Magnetic Man is a Dubstep act. Their sound grew out of P Money and Ms. Dynamite. Those roots explain a lot about how Magnetic Man arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Benga, Rusko, Skream, Katy B and Doctor P, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Skream, Katy B and Benga, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 18 connections around Magnetic Man, reaching back through P Money and forward to Skream.
