Morgoth

Death metal
Death metal

Morgoth is a Death metal act. Their sound grew out of Disbelief. Those roots explain a lot about how Morgoth arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Malevolent Creation, Sinister, Cancer, Unleashed and Dismember, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Obituary, Kreator, Biohazard, Immolation and Massacre, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 23 connections around Morgoth, reaching back through Disbelief and forward to Obituary. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
