Party Favor is a Folk act. Their sound grew out of K.Flay. Those roots explain a lot about how Party Favor arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as RL Grime, Jauz, TroyBoi, Peekaboo and Keys N Krates, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Billie Eilish and Tinashe, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 27 connections around Party Favor, reaching back through K.Flay and forward to Billie Eilish.
