They run in the same orbit as Natanya, Joyce Wrice, Ari Lennox, The Internet and Raveena, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into SZA, Noname, monte booker, Smino and Mick Jenkins, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 57 connections around Ravyn Lenae, reaching back through J*DaVeY and forward to SZA. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
