Saosin is a Emo and Indie rock act. Their sound grew out of The Receiving End of Sirens, Fiore, Flight 409, Funeral for a Friend and Aiden. Those roots explain a lot about how Saosin arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Circa Survive, Emarosa, The Used, LoveHateHero and Isles & Glaciers, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Conditions, Circa Survive, Secret And Whisper, The Used and Chiodos, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 42 connections around Saosin, reaching back through The Receiving End of Sirens and forward to Conditions.
