Sebastian is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Donovan, Bob Dylan, Mayer Hawthorne, Ed Banger Records and Chad Kroeger. Those roots explain a lot about how Sebastian arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Justice, Mr. Oizo, Gesaffelstein, Cassius and Siriusmo, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Altogether the chart holds 26 connections around Sebastian, reaching back through Donovan. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
