Submersed is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Metallica and Evans Blue. Those roots explain a lot about how Submersed arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as The Exies, Cold, 10 Years, Smile Empty Soul and Tremonti, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Alter Bridge, Tremonti and Creed, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 30 connections around Submersed, reaching back through Metallica and forward to Alter Bridge.
