10 Years is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Sevendust, Stone Temple Pilots, Florence + the Machine, Evans Blue and Young Guns. Those roots explain a lot about how 10 Years arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Cold, Trapt, Smile Empty Soul, Adelitas Way and Art of Dying, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Pillar, Kaoru, Hollywood Undead and Highly Suspect, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 41 connections around 10 Years, reaching back through Sevendust and forward to Pillar. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
