Tame One

Tame One is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Artifacts, RJD2, El Da Sensei, Cage and El-P. Those roots explain a lot about how Tame One arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Yak Ballz, Akrobatik, louis logic, Molemen and Q-Unique, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Redman and Travie McCoy, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 19 connections around Tame One, reaching back through Artifacts and forward to Redman. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
