The Corrs is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of K-Klass, Dea Matrona, Gabriella Cilmi, Fleetwood Mac and Nancy Sinatra. Those roots explain a lot about how The Corrs arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Andrea Corr, LeAnn Rimes, Natalie Imbruglia, Jewel and M2M, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Josh Groban, Natalie Imbruglia and Taylor Swift, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 45 connections around The Corrs, reaching back through K-Klass and forward to Josh Groban. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
