VINCINT is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Madonna, Björk, Regina Spektor, Beyoncé and Whitney Houston. Those roots explain a lot about how VINCINT arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as MNEK, Alex Newell, Qveen Herby, Alexandra Burke and Nicole Scherzinger, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Qveen Herby, Tegan and Sara, Trixie Mattel and RuPaul, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 35 connections around VINCINT, reaching back through Madonna and forward to Qveen Herby. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
