Waltari

Waltari is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Rhys Fulber, Tarja Turunen, Apocalyptica and Infinite Dreams. Those roots explain a lot about how Waltari arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Stam1na, Kotiteollisuus, Clawfinger, CMX and Mokoma, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Kreator, Children of Bodom, Apocalyptica, Tarja Turunen and Värttinä, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 29 connections around Waltari, reaching back through Rhys Fulber and forward to Kreator. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
