Life of Agony

Life of Agony is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of American Head Charge, John Joseph, Roadrunner Records, Blood, Sweat and No Tears and Ugly Kid Joe. Those roots explain a lot about how Life of Agony arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Helmet, Corrosion of Conformity, Body Count, Twitching Tongues and Hatebreed, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Worm Infested, Bloodsimple, Skrape, Cannibal Corpse and A Pale Horse Named Death, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 26 connections around Life of Agony, reaching back through American Head Charge and forward to Worm Infested. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
