Parachute is an American pop rock band from Charlottesville, Virginia, United States. Aly & AJ is an American pop rock duo consisting of sisters Alyson "Aly" Michalka and Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka from Torrance, California. They signed with Hollywood Records and in 2005, they released their debut album Into the Rush. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA and contained the singles "Rush" and "Chemicals React". They followed this release with the albums Acoustic Hearts of Winter (2006) and Insomniatic (2007).
