American Head Charge

American Head Charge is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Marilyn Manson, Patti Smith, Shawn Crahan, Motograter and Powerman 5000. Those roots explain a lot about how American Head Charge arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Spineshank, 40 Below Summer, Motograter, Nothingface and Dry Kill Logic, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into System of a Down, Slipknot, No One, Mudvayne and Rammstein, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 42 connections around American Head Charge, reaching back through Marilyn Manson and forward to System of a Down. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
