Andrea True Connection

Andrea True Connection is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Gregg Diamond and Bionic Boogie. Those roots explain a lot about how Andrea True Connection arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as A Taste of Honey, Anita Ward, Amii Stewart, The Hues Corporation and Yvonne Elliman, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Bananarama, Rachel Stevens, Len and Barbie: The Album, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 27 connections around Andrea True Connection, reaching back through Gregg Diamond and forward to Bananarama. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
