They run in the same orbit as The Orielles, The Big Moon, Black Honey, Mattiel and TTSSFU, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, The Vaccines, Sunflower Bean, The Kills and Garbage, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 37 connections around Dream Wife, reaching back through Be Your Own Pet and forward to Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers.
