Wolf Alice is a Rap act. Their sound grew out of Sunset Sons, Blur, Courtney Love, Bleachers and Tourist. Those roots explain a lot about how Wolf Alice arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Wet Leg, The Big Moon, Sunflower Bean, Florence Road and Black Honey, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Drop Dead, Hatchie, Lime Garden, TTSSFU and K.I.D, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 49 connections around Wolf Alice, reaching back through Sunset Sons and forward to Drop Dead.
