Eleven is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Jimmy Page, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Beatles and Johann Sebastian Bach. Those roots explain a lot about how Eleven arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Chris Cornell, Jerry Cantrell, The Gutter Twins, Afghan Whigs and Screaming Trees, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Jimmy Gnecco, Chris Cornell and No Doubt, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 41 connections around Eleven, reaching back through Jimmy Page and forward to Red Hot Chili Peppers. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
