Five

Five is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of We Will Rock You, Atomic Kitten, New Kids on the Block, East 17 and Backstreet Boys. Those roots explain a lot about how Five arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as A1, BBMak, 911, Spice Girls and Melanie C, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into 911, A1 and Naughty Boy, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 40 connections around Five, reaching back through We Will Rock You and forward to 911. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
