B*Witched is a Dance-pop act. Their sound grew out of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Honeyz, Atomic Kitten, Anne Dudley and ABBA. Those roots explain a lot about how B*Witched arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as All Saints, Sugababes, Honeyz, Five and Spice Girls, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Steps, Blue, Five, Atomic Kitten and Boyzone, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 50 connections around B*Witched, reaching back through Ladysmith Black Mambazo and forward to Steps.
