Toadies

Toadies is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Deep Blue Something, Red Hot Chili Peppers, White Zombie, Bush and Supersuckers. Those roots explain a lot about how Toadies arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Local H, Everclear, Days of the New, Blind Melon and Better Than Ezra, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Supersuckers, Everclear, American Hi-Fi, Fuel and Local H, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 37 connections around Toadies, reaching back through Deep Blue Something and forward to Supersuckers. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
