The Head and the Heart is an American indie folk band. They were formed in the summer of 2009 by Josiah Johnson and Jonathan Russell. The band currently includes Russell, Charity Rose Thielen, Chris Zasche (bass), Kenny Hensley (piano), Tyler Williams (drums), and Matt Gervais. The band is signed to Verve Records and have released six albums. Their sixth studio album, Aperture, was released on May 9, 2025.

The founding members are Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites ; cellist and vocalist Neyla Pekarek joined the band in 2010, and was a member until 2018. The Lumineers emerged as one of the most popular folk-rock/Americana artists during the revival of these genres, their popularity growing in the 2010s. They are known for their energetic live shows and several international hit singles, including "Ho Hey", "Stubborn Love", "Ophelia", "Angela" and "Cleopatra". The band has become one of the top touring bands in the United States and is also popular in other countries.

Alexander Michael Tahquitz Ebert is an American singer-songwriter and composer. He is best known for being the lead singer and songwriter for the American bands Ima Robot and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. On January 12, 2014, Ebert won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for his musical score to the film All Is Lost (2013).

Kristian Matsson is a Swedish singer-songwriter who performs under the stage name The Tallest Man on Earth. Matsson grew up in Leksand, and began his solo career in 2006, having previously been the lead singer of the indie band Montezumas. His music has often drawn comparisons to the music of Bob Dylan.

Lord Huron is a Los Angeles-based American indie rock band composed of Mark Barry, Miguel Briseño, Tom Renaud (guitar), and founder Ben Schneider. They released their debut album Lonesome Dreams in 2012, their second album Strange Trails in 2015, their third album Vide Noir in 2018, their fourth album Long Lost in 2021, and their fifth album The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1 in 2025.
