The Mowgli's

The Mowgli's is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of MisterWives, Beach Weather and The Greeting Committee. Those roots explain a lot about how The Mowgli's arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Smallpools, American Authors, Walk the Moon, Jukebox the Ghost and New Politics, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Hippo Campus, Family of the Year, American Authors, X Ambassadors and Manchester Orchestra, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 35 connections around The Mowgli's, reaching back through MisterWives and forward to Hippo Campus. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
