Natural Snow Buildings is a French musical duo, consisting of artists Mehdi Ameziane and Solange Gularte. Their music has been classified as free folk—an experimental form of psychedelic folk which emphasizes drones, ambience and non-Western influences. Formed in Paris in 1998, the duo has released numerous albums, many of them in extremely limited quantities before later being reissued by labels such as Ba Da Bing, and featuring pagan or broadly occult themes and references.

Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra, also known simply as Silver Mt. Zion, and abbreviated to SMZ, are a Canadian post-rock band that formed in 1999, originating from Montreal, Quebec. Michael Alden Hadreas, better known by his stage name Perfume Genius, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. Hadreas's indie music stylistically explores pop and rock with various influences and atmospheres. The themes in his music have included sexuality, his personal struggle with Crohn's disease, domestic abuse, and the dangers faced by gay men in contemporary society.

Alejandra Ghersi Rodríguez, known professionally as Arca, is a Venezuelan musician and record producer based in Barcelona, Spain. She initially began releasing music under the name of Nuuro. After attending the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, Ghersi first released the EP Baron Libre (2012) under the name Arca and subsequently released the EPs Stretch 1 and Stretch 2; the latter experimented with hip hop and brought her attention from prominent music publications.

By Storm are an American experimental hip-hop duo consisting of rapper Nathaniel "RiTchie" Ritchie and producer Parker Corey. From 2012 to 2023, Ritchie and Corey were members of Tempe-based trio Injury Reserve alongside rapper Stepa J. Groggs. Following Groggs' death and the release of their final album By the Time I Get to Phoenix (2021), Ritchie and Corey regrouped as a duo under the name By Storm.

Charles Arthur Russell Jr. was an American cellist, composer, producer, singer, and musician from Iowa, whose work spanned a disparate range of styles. After studying contemporary composition and Indian classical music in California, Russell relocated to New York City in the mid-1970s, where he became involved in Lower Manhattan's avant-garde community and later the city's burgeoning disco scene. His eclectic music was often marked by adventurous production choices and his soft tenor vocals.

Disco Inferno were an English band active in the late 1980s and the 1990s. Initially a trio of guitar, bass, and drums performing in an identifiable post-punk style, the band soon incorporated digital sampling drawing from various aural and musical sources, and atmospheric and hypnotic songwriting. While commercially unsuccessful during their existence, the band acquired a cult following, with critics regarding them as a key first wave post-rock act.

Julia Shammas Holter is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, composer, artist, and academic, based in Los Angeles. Her work has received critical acclaim and incorporates elements of art pop, chamber pop, baroque pop and ambient. Following three independent album productions, Holter released Tragedy as her first official studio album in 2011. Ekstasis followed in 2012. After signing with Domino Records in 2013, she released the albums Loud City Song (2013), Have You in My Wilderness (2015), the live-in-the-studio album In the Same Room (2017) and the double album Aviary (2018).
