The Wanted are a British-Irish boy band formed in 2009, and originally consisted of members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes. The group signed a worldwide contract to Universal Music, Island Records and Mercury Records, and was managed by Scooter Braun.

Kid 'n Play are an American hip-hop duo from New York City who were most popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The duo is composed of Christopher Reid ("Kid") and Christopher Martin ("Play") working alongside their DJ, Mark "DJ Wiz" Eastmond. Besides their musical careers, they also branched out into acting.

Simon Rex Cutright, is an American actor and rapper. Rising to fame as an MTV VJ, Rex later became an actor known for What I Like About You, starring in three films of the Scary Movie franchise, and National Lampoon's Pledge This! (2006). He later developed a rap persona, Dirt Nasty, and had several solo albums and co-founded the hip-hop group Three Loco. In 2021, he received critical acclaim for his lead role in Sean Baker's drama film Red Rocket, winning the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead.

"Shape of You" is a song by English singer Ed Sheeran. It was released on 6 January 2017 as one of the double lead singles from his third studio album ÷ (2017), along with "Castle on the Hill". The dancehall and R&B infused song was written by Sheeran, Steve Mac and Johnny McDaid. Due to its interpolation of "No Scrubs" by TLC, Kandi Burruss, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, and Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs are also credited as writers. The song was produced by Sheeran and Steve Mac.

"A Cruel Angel's Thesis" is a J-pop song performed by Japanese singer Yoko Takahashi and the opening theme of the anime television series Neon Genesis Evangelion. The song was composed by Toshiyuki Ōmori and Hidetoshi Satō, with its lyrics written by Neko Oikawa. It was released as a double-A-side single with "Fly Me to the Moon", the show's closing theme, on October 25, 1995. "The Cruel Angel's Thesis" was also included in the series' soundtrack releases and Takahashi's albums.

Tomahawk Technique is the fifth studio album by the Jamaican rapper and singer Sean Paul. It was released by his label Dutty Rock Productions, VP Records, and Atlantic Records in several countries beginning on 24 January 2012, with a US release in September 2012. Tomahawk Technique was nominated for Best Reggae Album at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, earning Paul his second nomination in that category after Imperial Blaze (2009).

Sidney V. Samson is a Dutch DJ and music producer. He is best known for his track "Riverside", which was released in 2009.
