They run in the same orbit as Jennifer Rush, Laura Branigan, T'Pau, Irene Cara and Cyndi Lauper, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Van Canto, Exit Eden, Yuridia, Robin Beck and The Edge of Glory, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 68 connections around Bonnie Tyler, reaching back through Elton John and forward to Van Canto. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
