Lamb

Trip hop
Trip hop

Lamb is a Trip hop act. Their sound grew out of Fink, 808 State and Global Communication. Those roots explain a lot about how Lamb arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as UNKLE, Flunk, Sneaker Pimps, Tricky and Smoke City, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Michael Franti, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 20 connections around Lamb, reaching back through Fink and forward to Michael Franti. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
