M.I Abaga

M.I Abaga is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of DMX, Ajebutter22, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley and Sarah McLachlan. Those roots explain a lot about how M.I Abaga arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Dremo, Falz, Show Dem Camp, Olamide and prettyboydo, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince, Odumodublvck, Phyno and Show Dem Camp, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 46 connections around M.I Abaga, reaching back through DMX and forward to Jesse Jagz. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
