Two Door Cinema Club is a Electropop and Indie rock act. Their sound grew out of Peach Pit, Generationals, Myd, Foals and Phoenix. Those roots explain a lot about how Two Door Cinema Club arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Foster the People, Joywave, Atlas Genius, The Vaccines and Bad Suns, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Good Kid, Smallpools, Cafuné, RAC and Hoodie Allen, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 55 connections around Two Door Cinema Club, reaching back through Peach Pit and forward to Good Kid.
