Urban Cone
Urban Cone is a Electropop act. Their sound grew out of Tove Lo, Tame Impala and Arcade Fire. Those roots explain a lot about how Urban Cone arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as The Jungle Giants, The Tough Alliance, Penguin Prison, Smallpools and San Cisco, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Tove Lo, Porter Robinson and John Dahlbäck, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 31 connections around Urban Cone, reaching back through Tove Lo and forward to Tove Lo.
