Indie rockRap

Brandon Flowers is a Indie rock and Rap act. Their sound grew out of Smalltown Boy, Steve Angello, Joywave, Brian Fallon and Ambulance Ltd. Those roots explain a lot about how Brandon Flowers arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as The Killers, White Lies, Keane, Snow Patrol and Kasabian, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Brian Fallon, Chrissie Hynde, New Order, Travis and Chris Martin, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 49 connections around Brandon Flowers, reaching back through Smalltown Boy and forward to Brian Fallon. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
