Death Angel
Death Angel is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Iron Maiden, Tygers of Pan Tang, U2, The Edge and Testament. Those roots explain a lot about how Death Angel arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Overkill, Exodus, Testament, Forbidden and Nuclear Assault, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Exodus and Testament, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 42 connections around Death Angel, reaching back through Iron Maiden and forward to Megadeth. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
