Dynasty is a Disco and Rock act. Their sound grew out of Check It Out and Foster Sylvers. Those roots explain a lot about how Dynasty arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Skyy, Kashif, Gayle Adams, Change and Lakeside, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Jadakiss, Halo, DSP, Wiz Khalifa and Shalamar, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 45 connections around Dynasty, reaching back through Check It Out and forward to Jadakiss. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
