Kosheen is a Drum and bass act. Their sound grew out of Ferry Corsten. Those roots explain a lot about how Kosheen arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as GusGus, Moloko, UNKLE, Kaleida and Flunk, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Urban Symphony and DJ Fresh, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 24 connections around Kosheen, reaching back through Ferry Corsten and forward to Urban Symphony.
