Snot

Snot is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Lo-Pro, Papa Roach, Travis Barker, The Shape of Punk to Come and Jared Gomes. Those roots explain a lot about how Snot arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Primer 55, Coal Chamber, Slaves on Dope, Korn and Nothingface, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Sugar Ray, My Ruin, Soulfly, System of a Down and Korn, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 35 connections around Snot, reaching back through Lo-Pro and forward to Sugar Ray. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
