Ambient

Autumn is a Ambient act. Their sound grew out of Morphia, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey and Massive Attack. Those roots explain a lot about how Autumn arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Tristania, Sirenia, Xandria, Leaves' Eyes and Delain, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Pink, Jesse McCartney, Kylie Minogue, Kacy Hill and Alexis Jordan, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 40 connections around Autumn, reaching back through Morphia and forward to Pink. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
