DANGERDOOM is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Zero 7 and Gorillaz. Those roots explain a lot about how DANGERDOOM arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Viktor Vaughn, JJ DOOM, MF DOOM, King Geedorah and Czarface, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Gnarls Barkley, Beck and The Black Keys, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 41 connections around DANGERDOOM, reaching back through Zero 7 and forward to Gnarls Barkley.
