Shaman is a Alternative rock and Folk act. Their sound grew out of Lyzanxia, Sascha Paeth, Michael Weikath, X Japan and Avantasia. Those roots explain a lot about how Shaman arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Stratovarius, Helloween, Edguy, Avantasia and Rhapsody, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Altogether the chart holds 28 connections around Shaman, reaching back through Lyzanxia. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
