Imagine Dragons

Alternative rock
Alternative rockElectropopRap

Imagine Dragons is a Alternative rock and Electropop act. Their catalogue also touches Rap. Their sound grew out of It's Time, Take Me to Church, Declan McKenna, K.Flay and Saint Motel. Those roots explain a lot about how Imagine Dragons arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as American Authors, The Score, Coldplay, BANNERS and Twenty One Pilots, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Grouplove, Faouzia, Pentatonix, Audrey Mika and Sizzy Rocket, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 52 connections around Imagine Dragons, reaching back through It's Time and forward to Grouplove. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
