Labrinth is a Alternative rock and Contemporary R&B act. Their catalogue also touches Dance-pop, Drum and bass and Dubstep. Their sound grew out of Professor Green, Mike Posner, Ella Henderson, Michael Calfan and Rizzle Kicks. Those roots explain a lot about how Labrinth arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Rihanna, Sam Smith, ZAYN, Absolutely and Lola Young, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Mike Posner, Noah Cyrus, Sia, Diplo and Jorja Smith, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 55 connections around Labrinth, reaching back through Professor Green and forward to Mike Posner. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
