◇ image via WikipediaParamore
Paramore is a Alternative rock and Rap act. Their sound grew out of Joe Trohman, Stuck on You, The Swellers, Jay Som and The Shape of Punk to Come. Those roots explain a lot about how Paramore arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Hayley Williams, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, My Chemical Romance and Flyleaf, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Scandal, Clarion, Mayday Parade, Snail Mail and Coldrain, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 114 connections around Paramore, reaching back through Joe Trohman and forward to Scandal. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
