They run in the same orbit as Damageplan, Metallica, Superjoint Ritual, Nailbomb and Machine Head, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into New American Gospel, Mario Judah, Mike Wengren, Throwdown and Abandon All Ships, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 130 connections around Pantera, reaching back through Anthrax and forward to New American Gospel. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
